Hero of Russia Vyacheslav Bocharov: "today we honour the memory of the dead children and those who rescued the hostages at the cost of their own lives"
In the public Chamber of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION took place the opening ceremony of the exhibition, devoted to the Beslan tragedy.
The event was attended by hero of Russia, first Deputy Secretary of the public Chamber of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION Vyacheslav bocharov, the Chairman of the Commission of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION on development and OP support for volunteering (volunteering), charity and patriotic education Sergey Schetinin, President of the charitable fund for the promotion of the spiritual and moral education of youth "All together" Dmitriy Zolotov, President of the Foundation for assistance to children in difficult situations "open hearts" Andrei Podgorny, representatives of the Permanent Mission of the RNO-Alania under the RF President Elina Berezova and Exiled Irbek Farniev culture and art figures, journalists.
The exhibition was opened by the Deputy Secretary-general of the public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the hero of Russia Vyacheslav Bocharov. He was one of the first employees of the FSB, the CTS that went into school No. 1 during the assault. During the operation, he had been shot in the head.
"Today we honour the memory of the dead children and those who rescued the hostages at the cost of their own lives. There is a saying: "Soldiers dying twice. For the first time, when it hits a bullet, the second time is when he is forgotten ". So, we will do everything not to forget their feat, "said Vyacheslav Bocharov.
After the speech, the hero of Russia was shown a short film about those terrible days. Show ended with a minute of silence. From North Ossetia, words of gratitude to the organizers of the event expressed the Member of the Permanent Mission of RNO-Alania under the RF President Exiled Irbek Farniev:
"Thanks to the organizers for exhibition. It is very important that even away from Beslan, Ossetia, remembers the tragedy of 2004 year. We should not forget about that. If people, especially the younger generation, will know the details of those terrible days, I am sure this will never happen again, "said Exiled Irbek Farniev.
